Printmaking slide show

Printmaking at Pamukkale University in Turkey, 2010

In the summer of 2010 I was a guest artist at Pamukkali University's first International workshop at Denizli, Turkey.

I made four plates which were printed in a variety of palettes of colour. The colours were influenced by my encounters with colour in Turkey. Each plates was hand inked making each print a unique impression,  printed on a variety of hand made rag paper.

Images of the prints will be linked on the Thumbnail page and through the drop down gallery menu.

I first studied printmaking,  in 1961 and 1962, with Paul Drewery when I was a student at London University's Goldsmith's College, School of Art.

This slide show highlights my involvement with the students in the making of Linoleum Prints.
